Berrien County offers several recycling events in 2018, as described in a 2-page flyer.  The first is a Reduce, Reuse, Recycle Day for residents on Wednesday, April 11, from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Lake Michigan College, 2755 E. Napier Ave., Benton Harbor.  Enter at Napier Ave. and follow signs to parking lot by Mendel Center.  Accepted items range from polystyrene to American flags.

 

The county will also hold a Community Recycling Event on Saturday, June 16, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the New Buffalo Township Fire Station, 17655 Clay St., south of Red Arrow Highway/Route 12/Clay Street intersection.  Accepted items include household chemicals and electronics.
